Dave Hill and Bill Hunt

 

 

Jenny knew Dave Hill vaguely from the early days in Birmingham . For a time they had the same agent(Nita Anderson) who allegedly  sold them to 'Chas Chandler' (of the Animals) in the late 60's for £12.000!

 

Jenny heard rhrough the grapevine that Dave wanted a female vocalist for a duo project, that he and 'Bill Hunt' (ex Roy Wood's Wizard) who wrote 'See my baby jive' were promoting.

 

Dave and Bill co-wrote some new songs for 'Jenny to sing' in the 'Tina Turner, 'Bonnie Rait' genre.Alas, only three were recorded 'The beat of America' 'Like a thief in the night'..and.....

 

Dave wanted to sign Jenny up to a five year contract,but after the DJM experience Jenny declined..especialy as money was an issue....there being none offered, so to speak.
