*Dick James was the singer who sang the theme tune to 'Robin Hood' in the 1950's BBC programme of the same name.
After retiring from singing with the big Bands of the 40's and 50' Dick formed 'Dick James Music' which later on bought all the Copyright for the Beatles Songs, after which were called 'Northern Songs'
Please note that Dick James also signed up Elton John, and was also his Personal Manager until Elton left and formed 'Rocket Records'.
